Hello so I'm back in Kuching! Never thought that time could pass by so fast. This year undoubtedly had been a year full of excitements and also sorrows. Was glad melbourne treat me well.

Normally, people would think those who study abroad are way too snobbish, they 'kek' their angmoh accents while talking etc. I feel that when people look at me like 'oooooh you go overseas'. It's ok. I am grateful my dad is able to send me study overseas. I am just a little bit more lucky than most people in Kuching thats all. Studying overseas, really, is not that cool and its no big deal too. We got to face the music ourselves, all the time while back in your hometown, you get to discuss the matter with your parents and close friends. But here, you have to think, as they say, critically and analytically .

I miss literature tutorials esp in term 4 where we studied Hamlet. I just realised the other day, the high school kids this year were studying Hamlet as well lol. To be frank, Australian education system is really really better than Malaysia's. So much better. Damn government, you really need to get your people to think outside the box.

I was shocked at an adult with his family at Ipoh Town Kopitiam the other day at KLIA, he cut our queue without asking me and my sister 'sorry are you in the queue?'. We both concluded that maybe we had been staying outside for so long and wouldn't really get used to these people's attitudes. You think you're older and the younger ones should let you and give in. Don't take things for granted. All I can say is that you're still living in zaman dulu. Concept has changed ok.

And Najib, you scolded those people who go abroad to study and when they finish their degrees, they do not decide to come back and serve the country. Well, why is that so? Had you ever think that maybe its the government's fault? You guys are not convincing enough? You say we do not love our country. Well, we do love our country and our ancestors. We just have no love in our government aka Barisan Nasional. In other words, you guys are hopeless. Somehow, media is something that revealed the truths during the pasts, but now. it is used to cover up your wrongdoings? If you want to gain trusts from your citizens again, treat them well, no more whatever transformasi stuff---they are totally useless. Was there any developed countries who apply these kind of transformation thingy or whatsoever to improve their nations' qualities? Generation gap prolly is the main problem to overcome. You need to get your people to think alike.Sadly, you can totally identify the differences between the older generations and the newer generations--their way of thinking and analysing things. Too bad, the textbook syllabubs has been changed over and over again. The issue of the language used has also aroused the concern. Dear government, this is just not right.

Had chemistry paper this morning. My brain had been working seriously 3 hours nonstop, heard that some people didn't even finish the paper O.O The paper was ok omg thank god. Leaving for kuching on 4 December omg I am coming home tell the world I'm coming home :) Can't wait to meet up with all my friends!

Went to watch Breaking Dawn with weishan at Hoyts after having lunch :) Heard that Malaysia they cut many scenes esp the sex/make up/bed scenes. :/ so conservative. Luckily, we get to watch the 'uncut' movie :) I am kinda touched at what Jacob did. He is such a gentleman. There's some parts that freaked me out as well. Like the part where the foetus was taken out by Edward from Bella's body. And she stopped breathing and bla. Overall, can't wait for Part 2!!!

Still left chemistry. Shit la I screwed up my maths 2 test. I always didn't get full marks for quiz in class, and my class was seriously full of super good China people and Indonesians. So today, final test. I screwed up the screwed up. I couldn't go to bed last night, I was up till 4am in the morning revising every single questions from the pasts years questions and tutorial books. Looks like it didn't help. Test started at 9.30 ended at 12.40pm. I went home after that and had my so-called nap. Forced myself to sleep because I didn't know what to do at home. I feel like checking my answers but ahh forget it. Just woke up from a 6 hours nap. And I need to go down to city in 10 minutes to buy Nando.

So stress about maths. Back in form 5, I feel grateful to be able to score well in both maths and add maths papers. People always told me back then, hey you are a chinese, if you don't do well in other subjects, no worries, BUT better do well in maths. But now...I feel so damn stress. I finished all the past year questions, read through lecture notes, I still feel insecure. I asked our college admin few days ago...If I want to get into biomedicine or science, oh the entry scores are 87 and 80 respectively. I am stress cause if chemistry was in my best 4 scores, my marks are totally gonna pull down by chemistry. I never wanted to sit for hoi exam. but it is my second highest scores. I am not even prepare for the hoi exam--what extracts what thinker. lol btw I chose darwin and yes my friend is right, he was one crazy old man. my average score now is 84. got that odd feeling that my brain is heating up. you know, parents pay a whole lots of $$ for you to study abroad and yet you only manage to get into science? sooo, for people who are reading this, thanks for reading, and if you are having an exam now or sooner, better start your revision earlier. no matter how busy you are. :)

Now, where should I start? Life in Aussie has been great. Oh wait, should I make a plan for what am I going to write cz I have a feeling that this is going to be a very long, long post.

Ok nevermind I'll just go on with whatever comes to my mind.

Basically I will just summarize what did I learn and study since February.

Literature, History of Ideas as core subjects. I chose Maths 1, Maths 2 and Chemistry as my electives.

Term 1 exam, Term 2( Semester 1 Exam) *wave goodbye*,

Not going to have any exam for Term 3 except for those taking Physics and Economics.

I meet lots of cool friends here. But some are just very pompous? I on Facebook like almost everyday.

I saw some kuchingnites posted some statuses about how hard their exam is, how depress their lives are, how 'sien' they are to study Biology etc.

Everytime I saw these posts, I feel like shouting out loud, hey friends I wonder how would you all feel

when you see our syllabus? I didn't complain, well of course I did, but not on social networks, because I know, there are still some undergraduates out there who are studying at Harvard or whatever high-ranking universities, who are seriously under X100000 pressure than what I've been experiencing. So you think your teachers are torturing all of you? your syllabus is hard?

Emh... I wonder, would you even commit suicide when you take a look at our lecture notes. Not like I am being snobbish or apalah. When I got into some problems, I need to solve it on my own. When I am sick I could not tell my family cz they will get worry and stuff( since I know they've got lots of things to worry about). By the time I reach home, I could not tell my sis what happened to me today or whatever day la, she will get worry, but again, she's got her own things to worry about. Most importantly, I don't know how to stat with. Where should I start? I feel tired telling everyone my problems, which I never did and never will.

The other thing is, I miss home, abit. The cause of this is that most of my friends who are studying in West Malaysia, always posted something like, again on Facebook, ' Yeah I am going home!! Woohoooooo...My own bed etc.'. Not like I am not happy, well, I AM not happy. I mean, hey, you know your location or not. It's damn near Kuching. I have not been stepping into my house for I don't know, 7 months? GREAT. Not like every statuses need to mention these kind of stuff one ma.

Stress! Got drama performance! We need to plan our play, write our own scripts. The problem with our group is there's too many scenes, but nevermind it's fun! There's this girl who seldom turned up for practices, we could not make sure whether she would turn up on that performance day or not. And she didn't tell anyone else yet what her reasons are, well according to her friend, she's got some family problems to settle. Keeping everything else to yourself is not a smart way. Plus, you need to let us know what happen to you so that we can help and that you're not alone.

Friendship. Was on a chat with a friend just now. Well, the chat is still on. Sometimes, it's not worth it, to treat your friend well when they're in some very down conditions. Because after that, they will, well, most likely, forgot about your help and eventually forgot that you'd helped them and gave them a hand when they needed someone else most. Because you won't get the same treatment? Did I use the word correctly? I don't know. Sometimes, it just not worth it though. No matter how much you care for them. "The Overcoat" written by Nikolay Gogol, one of the short stories in 'Diary of a Mad Man', is worth reading( Thanks to Literature). We learn a lot of critical and analytic skills. What Gogol shows us is that there's no social justice in this society. Well he wrote this short story in 1800 something I forgot( He died in 1852). There will never be. So, read it!

Errrr I could not think of anything else to write. I guess I'll just stop here? Happy reading! :)

Finally I get that part in 'UP' ! Where the uncle didn't manage to get his house back when he was saving the little boy. Learn that, sometimes, you really need to let things go, no matter how much you missed them.

Now, we studied "A Thousand Years of Good Prayers' written by Li YiYun in tutorial this morning.

And Oh My Tian , I've been so in love with the storyline^^. Li is definitely an awesome writer!

Surprisingly, I thought today might be as cooling as the past few days but it didn't. The weather here is really unpredictable and the weather forecast is pretty useless except for the one on TCOLE website. Haha.

Woo! Suddenly feel like blogging about my college life! So let's start, shall we?

I've got a Literature Tutorial this morning from 11am untill 12.30pm.

Went home to feed my empty and growling stomach.

Went back to college for Literature Lecture from 1.45pm until 3.15pm.

Guess what? We were learning about 2 poems which are "The Sketch" by Mike Heald and " The Road Not Taken " by Robert Frost.

Unusually, Mike who wrote the poem, is our Lit Teacher.

As for the latter, we Malaysians learnt that poem during our Form 4 high school year.

" ...Two roads diverged in a yellow wood..."

That's my favourite poem of all times honestly.

What's interesting is that, we even learnt that there had been a debate between George W Bush and Barack Obama on the poem " The Road Not Taken "few years back. >__<

I had to rush off for Chemistry Lecture from 3.45pm untill 5.15pm. We got chocolate buttons during the lecture from our lecturer. Heh.

Great happiness comes when having a bubble tea after finishing all your homework. ;)

Hello peeps!

In case you haven't noticed, March is here!

And it's freaking cold and windy in melbourne here :(

I seriously like cold weather, but not thissss cold

(eg : the temperature hits 15.4 degree celsius today--it's crazy)

I realized that I did have so much fun in orientation compared to that in lectures.

Besides, I would have to do 100m sprint if I'm late for class.

Reminder : the campus buildings are scattered around in the city so sometimes I might get lost.

Luckily we've got a map at the last page of our student diary but it only helps a little.

And hwee... if the breeze was strong enough just now, I would not be sitting at my table now and posting this blog post because I nearly got blown away by it! No kidding. It's true.

A lot of weird names appeared in Chemistry though. It's freaking me out.

Well... I think that's all for now. Yes! I've only got 2 classes tomorrow!

I know I know... some may think that I'm showing off and being proud to be here in melb.

Honestly, I do not feel that way.

I understand that, sometimes I do feel a bit offended when I was half-way reading through people's blogs. For instance, they post things up like how good is Aus or NZ compared to Malaysia and stuff. Nah. I seriously do not feel it that way--trust me :)

I thank my parents for giving me a chance to further my studies here. and I appreciate it.

Was half-way browsing through my friendster account, particularly the testimonials part.

I suddenly realised that time does fly, really really rapidly.

I was reading the testimonials that my ex-classmates posted on my wall. How nice of them!

Surely, it does bring back some memories. We were so young and naive that time.

There's some comments about PMR too. For instance, try your best yeah, don't worry.

Not only PMR was over, we all had already sat for our SPM examination like 2 months ago.

A new year has started.

Sometimes, I hate our school libraries prefects.

They are so noob. YES they are.

Anyway, today we had Taklimat SPM and a jamuan after that. I supposed everything ran pretty well. We took a lot of photos ! Upload all of them on Facebook :)

When I knew that many people are on their way rushing for that certain location in that particular country, I feel sick.

I am leaving for that place too. The problem is, I thought I wouldn't see these people again( heaved a sigh of relief), but no. They ARE leaving for it too. Oh god. Why is that so?

I see no difference between Microsoft Word 2010 and Microsoft Word 2007.

Oh yaya! Our school exam's over while other schools are just about to start their exam.

Hmph.
Life after exam is miserable. I prefer exam week than usual school days.
During normal school days, I've got to finish a whole load bunch of homework, assessment and peka. Repeat : especially homework.

Researchers keep telling us teenager to sleep at least 8 hours per day. How can we manage to do that since most of us- the high school students will have to finish our schoolwork and probably we can only manage to finish ALL of them by 11pm. And that's an hour more to midnight. :)

Best friends threw me a surprise birthday party at school after 'rumah sukan meeting'. I felt so flabbergasted. Thanks guys! Going to upload photos after exam week. Oh man. NOOO.

What a feverish day! In the morning, we went to visit uncle's house and grandma's house at Tapah. Sent Meredith to Spring after that to meet with her friends. My aunt and I went to MBO to buy some tickets for tonight. What the? The queue was really long. VERY long. =) So we left. At 2.45pm, Linda, Ena and boyfriend, Shelly,Mavis,Clare,Ann, Sarah and Jess came over to my house. ( Thanks guys! ) Mum's ex-students came after that. Only remember a few, like Jesslyn, Karen and Rachel. =) Oh-ooh. My temple friends were here after 10 minutes. Served them Heineken. Everyone left at 5 something. My mum, aunty and I made a move to Star Cineplex and bought 5 tickets for the movie-The Little Big Soldier. Chaio People~ Happy CNY once again!

Well, what happened today?
Emh. Ok. Mr George and wife came to fill the buffet thing. Mum had an open house today. Actually we(2 aunties, sis and I ) were supposed to help her to serve the teachers but in the end she asked aunty to drive us out to anywhere we like. Ok then. haha. Went to spring. Ate lunch there. I tried out the noodle with fish fillet. Not bad actually but I think they overshoot the pepper 0.0.

Went to Boulevard after that. At 3 something we went home. May Yee and Claryne came to visit sis. Amanda,Marilyn,Lip Yi and Miss Susie came after that, followed by my uncle's family. Then...who else?? ( busy cracking my head)

Oh...Cikgu Magdelene and family and Cikgy Donar came. At around 5.45pm, got ready for spring again for the movie-True Legend. Emmhhh. Jay Chou is in there.

Happy Lunar New Year!!! Went to both grandmas' houses and granny's house. Tiring :( As you can see in the photo, there were my dad, mum, aunties, sis and I. Dinner time! Steamboat! Muahaah~ We had Abolone!! A huge one.-Huang Sui- Mum sent dad to the airport after dinner. Dad should be on the plane to Singapore at the moment. Leaving for Vietnam.

It's Chinese New Year Eveeee!

Finally, I helped mum to do some house cleaning in the afternoon. Swept the floor( from living room till kitchen and bedrooms), cleaned the fans and air-cons( omg, the dust was making me sneezing all the time) whilst Meredith Lee was having her nap. Blekkk. She even forgot to vacuum the floor!

Heading for reunion dinner at Crown Square in just 1 more hour. ^^ Chiao first people.

It's been awhile that I did not look high up in the starry night.

I saw a phenomena of '3 stars in a row' again whilst feeding my cat with the leftover food just now. I ever saw that in Melbourne, back in December 2009. I googled it. And I found out that it's called Orion's belt. 0.o oh oh , belt??? Another interesting constellation throughout the galaxy.
